gsm2go Terms and Conditions & GDPR Statement

This document outlines gsm2go’s policies regarding service usage, data handling, privacy protection, and customer rights.

Right to Deny Service

We strive to provide best of breed global roaming service in a professional, dedicated, and diligent manner to bona fide customers. Nevertheless, we do not tolerate fraudsters, and we reserve the right to deny service to cloaked customers who provide false information when registering.

We reserve the right to deny, suspend, or cease service if concerns about fraud arise. If you provide dubious information when registering, we may ask to verify your identification. We reserve the right to deny service if you use a debit card without providing full ID information, or if your IP address raises concerns.

Please note we do not provide refunds in cases of suspected fraud and/or in the absence of identity verification when requested.

Financial Data

We don’t collect nor keep any financial data. When you enter your credit card number, your information goes directly to Authorize.Net, a Visa company. We don’t see your credit card information, we are not exposed to it, and we don’t collect it.

Technical Data

We may collect technical data including your IP address, login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system, and platform used to access our website.

Roaming and Cellular Data

Same as any European mobile network operator and strictly within GDPR guidelines. Cellular data records are kept for six months, as per GDPR guidelines.

To Whom Do We Disclose Your Data

We may share your personal data with gsm2go affiliated entities under common control, and external third parties who provide IT, data center, and call center support services.

We do not sell nor share your data for third-party marketing or sales purposes. We do not share your data with mailing lists or similar services. We may disclose data to regulators and judicial authorities when required.

Where Is Your Data Transferred To

Some of our service providers are based outside the European Economic Area (EEA). gsm2go network infrastructure is in the UK. We rely on Authorize.Net (a Visa subsidiary) for credit card processing.

We use contracts approved by the European Commission to ensure personal data protection outside the EEA.

Data Security

We have implemented security measures to prevent personal data from being lost, misused, accessed without authorization, altered, or disclosed.

Access to personal data is limited to staff or third parties who require it for business purposes and are bound by confidentiality.

We have procedures to handle data breaches and will notify users and authorities when legally required.
